Inpatient Crisis Stabilization
This first phase of care is where observation and stabilization occur.
The focus is primarily on physical safety, emotional stabilization, and assessing the need for pharmacological interventions. It is designed for clients in a mental health crisis whose needs cannot be met safely in a residential service setting.
Expert clinical and medical professionals
During this level of care, your child will have 24/7 access to our expert clinical and medical professionals, who will provide emotional, physical, and rehabilitative support. All our clients begin at this level of care to provide them with the best outcome possible. An average stay at this level of care is typically 5-7 days but may vary depending on a case-by-case basis.
Short Term Residential Care
The short term residential care is our second phase of care.
With an average 14-30 day stay, our primary focus in this phase of treatment is safety. In addition, while still medically-based, subacute care applies mental health treatment that allows patients to use holistic coping skills to their treatment and gives them a less restrictive schedule than inpatient care.
Essential parts of this phase
Social skills training, group therapy, mindfulness meditation, and recreational therapy are essential parts of this phase that have long-lasting positive effects on our patients. While here, each client receives a personalized treatment plan created together with the therapist to which they are assigned.
Partial Hospitalization
This final phase of care serves as an integration period, transitioning our clients back into everyday life.
Here they will come to Vive for treatment during the day but return home during nights and weekends. Our therapy focuses heavily on building sustainable routines and life skills application in this transition phase while still providing medical monitoring.
Demonstrating learned coping skills
This final phase in our program is the last piece of the model that allows patients to demonstrate the coping skills they have learned while at our facility. During this phase, patients are allowed to go home after hours but must come to our facility to receive their treatment during the day.
This phase in the program is geared towards sustainability in daily routines, life skills application, while we provide medical and clinical monitoring during their transition out of our program.
