Brittani is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist specializing in child and adolescent therapy. She received her Masters’ degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from NorthCentral University. She is currently in the last year of her PhD program, where she has been focusing on understanding the effects that childhood trauma has on the adolescent brain. Her research includes exploring how epigenetics contributes to the manifestation of personality disorders, and extensive research on adoption, autism, borderline personality disorder and maladaptive behaviors. She has been working with high-risk children and adolescents for over 13 years and is very passionate about what she does. She is trained in DBT, Trauma Focused- CBT, ADOS assessments, Behavior Intervention planning, Art Therapy, Brain-Spotting, Play Therapy, Neurofeedback, and many other forms of therapy. She uses a very hands-on approach that is individualized and unique to each person she works with based off their specific needs. She was raised in San Francisco, CA and is part Chinese. During her free time, she enjoys traveling the world with her family, reading/listening to audiobooks, hiking, and mountain biking.
